BOOSTAR is designed for emergency safety. We only request information and permissions needed to help users request support during danger, panic, confusion, travel threat, medical emergency, or community safety emergency.

Depending on how you use BOOSTAR, the app may collect or process the following information:
- Phone Number: used to identify you and allow responders or selected emergency contacts to call you back during an emergency.
- Location: used only when you request emergency help so your location can be included in your emergency alert.
- Emergency Contacts: used to send emergency alerts to contacts selected by you.
- Emergency Alert Details: such as alert status, time of alert, and emergency category where applicable.
- Device and App Information: used to improve app performance, security, and emergency response reliability.

BOOSTAR uses information only for safety and emergency-related purposes, including:
- Sending emergency alerts when you request help.
- Sharing your location with selected emergency contacts or approved response numbers during an emergency.
- Helping you quickly dial 112 or your local Police Control Room number.
- Supporting emergency status updates, alert confirmation, and responder follow-up.
- Improving the reliability, security, and performance of the app.
🔐3. Permissions Used by BOOSTAR
Phone Number
Needed so responders or selected emergency contacts can call you back. It is not used for marketing.
Location
Used only when you request emergency help, so your location can be added to your alert.
SMS
Used only to send your emergency message and location when you activate an emergency alert.
Phone Call / Dialer
Used to help you quickly dial 112 or local emergency response numbers during emergencies.
Notification
Used for emergency alert confirmation, safety updates, and status information.
Display Over Other Apps
Used only for the floating emergency button. BOOSTAR does not monitor other apps, read what you type, or capture your screen.
💬4. SMS Privacy
BOOSTAR does not open, read, monitor, or collect your SMS messages. SMS permission, where enabled, is used only to send emergency messages and location information when you request emergency help.
🪟5. Floating Emergency Button
BOOSTAR may provide a floating emergency button that can appear over other apps. This allows you to trigger emergency alerts quickly, even when BOOSTAR is not open on your screen.
BOOSTAR does not use this feature to monitor your activity in other apps, read private messages, capture your screen, or collect information from other apps. You can disable the floating emergency button from BOOSTAR settings or your phone settings.

- BOOSTAR does not sell your personal data.
- BOOSTAR does not use your phone number for marketing.
- BOOSTAR does not read your SMS messages.
- BOOSTAR does not monitor your activity in other apps.
- BOOSTAR does not capture your screen or collect information from other apps.

BOOSTAR may share emergency-related information only when necessary for emergency support, such as:
- With your selected emergency contacts.
- With approved emergency response numbers or responders where applicable.

BOOSTAR does not sell your personal information to advertisers or third parties.

We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect user information against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, or disclosure. However, no digital platform can guarantee 100% security.

You may control BOOSTAR permissions from your phone settings. You may also disable optional app features such as floating emergency button where applicable.
If you deny a permission, some emergency features may not work fully, but BOOSTAR will still aim to provide available safety support.

BOOSTAR is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate consent. Users should comply with applicable laws and safety guidance when allowing minors to use emergency alert services.
