BoostAR-M may collect the following information when you use the app:

Access token used to sign in to the app.
Basic account details returned by the BoostAR-M server, such as name, phone number, and email address.
Device notification token used to send emergency alert notifications.
Location information, including latitude, longitude, accuracy, and time recorded, when location permission is granted.
App activity records, such as sign in, app open, logout, notification activity, and location updates.
Emergency alert records displayed in the app, including alert message, status, contact phone, state, LGA, date, time, and map coordinates.

How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

Authenticate authorized BoostAR-M users.
Display emergency alert records on the app map.
Send push notifications for new BoostAR-M alerts.
Record activity needed for monitoring, support, security, and service reliability.
Improve the availability and operation of BoostAR-M services.

Location Data

BoostAR-M requests location permission to support authenticated monitoring services and activity records. Location data may be sent to the BoostAR-M server when you sign in, open the app, register for notifications, or when the app records a location update. If you deny location permission, some monitoring features may be limited.

Notifications

BoostAR-M uses push notifications to alert authorized users about new emergency records. The app may use a device notification token to deliver these notifications.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. Information is used for BoostAR-M operations and may be processed by service providers needed to run the app, including server hosting, Firebase Cloud Messaging, mapping, and related technical services.

Data Security

We use reasonable technical and administrative safeguards to protect app data. No electronic system is completely secure, so users should keep their access token private and report suspected unauthorized access.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide BoostAR-M services, maintain security, meet operational requirements, and comply with applicable obligations.

Children's Privacy

BoostAR-M is intended for authorized users and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your Choices

You can control location and notification permissions through your device settings. You can also sign out of the app to remove the saved local session from your device.
